The fight for the podium was very exciting at the 3rd HOYER-Cup 2010. In men's team the positions 1-3 were won with a 7-meter shooting.

Here, the tesa team emerged as the winner, followed by HOYER and Rypina team. In the women's team STERAC was the winner after exciting games.

The 2nd HOYER-Cup 2009 was a raving success for all parties. The audience cheered for the 31 teams, which showed exiting and fair matches.

The men´s team of HOYER Hamburg achieved the 1st place followed by Evergreen and tesa - at the 2nd and 3rd place. The ladies of COSCO won the tournament.

After successfully defending the title in 2007, the HOYER men's team managed to win the Unifeeder Cup in 2008, too. Following three commanding victories in the preliminary round and other superb performances in the semi-finals, the Grimaldi team was eliminated in the penalty shoot-out in the finals.

The ladies' team shot to certain victory as a group, before being eliminated in the penalty shoot-out in the semi-finals. After just missing out on 3rd place, the team managed to achieve a happy 4th place.

A total of 30 teams took part in the 1st HOYER Cup 2008 in Hamburg. The winning ladies' team was the Hyundai shipping company, the HOYER ladies came in 5th place.

Although there was no stopping the HOYER Hamburg men's team when it came to winning the tournament, the team handed over first prize to the runner-up as a gesture of goodwill.

At the 3rd MOPO team-relay in Hamburg 559 teams passed the distance of 5x5 km successfully. Despite some cancellations in preparatory stage HOYER managed to nominate four teams. They showed places from degree 260, 370, 444 and 554. The day came to an end with a barbecue for everyone and an enjoyable party.

In August, the second MOPO team-relay took place in the municipal park in Hamburg. This run, which was organised by the company Hamburger Morgenpost, was a broad success. 329 of 340 registiered teams passed the distance of 5x5 km and achieved the finish line. HOYER started with four teams and showed places from degree 105, 201, 291 to 319.

Unfortunately, HOYER's table tennis team had to accept relegation into the F league last season. The league was too strong and the key players that dropped out were irreplaceable. However, the team in the season before achieved a superb 3rd place, just missing out on promotion.

Every year for over seven years a water skiing trip has been held for all the sports and water skiing fans employed by HOYER Hamburg. An entire water-skiing lane in Süsel near Lübeck is rented exclusively for the HOYER team. The majority of the 30 employees on the trip consisted of newcomers rather than experienced skiers.

Once a year, a canoe trip is held for the new trainees in Hamburg. The trip is organised to give new trainees the opportunity to talk to "experienced" trainees about their upcoming tasks and workflow, before they commence their training.

To celebrate 40 years of HOYER Belgium, all employees and their families were invited to a corporate event. While the little ones amused themselves with quad riding, steeplechasing and the bouncy castle, etc. the adults were able to take part in cleaning or workshop activities. Visitors were able to see a container from inside for example. The day came to an end with a barbecue for everyone and an enjoyable party.

In order to improve teamwork, the HOYER team set off into the nature with 25 employees to gain outdoor experience, including overcoming obstacles at a height of nine metres.
